This new architectural style not only blends perfectly into the mountain landscape, but also has several advantages.

Barn Dominia’s exterior is simple yet beautiful

The simplicity of Barndominium homes is one of the reasons they are attractive to buyers. Beautiful to look at, perfect for buyers looking for something simple yet unique and sophisticated. Barndomes promote interior flexibility

The exterior may be very simple, but the interior can paint a contrasting picture. There are no limits to  interior customization. Burn Dominant Lasts Longer

Metal barns are better suited to withstand the various elements found in the Colorado Mountains, so they last longer  than most standard home building materials. Not only is metal stronger than wood, but it also offers great protection in  extreme weather conditions. Burned Min is energy efficient

Traditional houses are built with insulated 2×4 exterior walls. For the barndominium, in addition to insulated metal post walls, we incorporated a 2×4 frame to provide a full 8 inches of protection from the outside elements. Why is Barn Dominius Good for Height? Our buildings are designed to withstand all  mountain elements,  tested for structural integrity by a renowned civil engineering company and stamped by a Colorado Registered Engineer. It is designed to meet the rigorous weathering requirements of , which includes a 40 lb  snow load and 85 MPH wind speeds. It also has a Class A roof that offers maximum fire resistance. The 4′ o/c steel frame walls and crossbars start with  15 gauge U.S. forged tubular steel and are held together by 15 gauge straps and 16 gauge purlins, making it much more than a  2 x 6 rod frame. Strong and solid construction. construction. The outer frame  is wrapped in Reflectix insulation. This insulation is highly fire resistant and adds an R-value to the R-19 insulation used in  wall cavities. A steel frame and 2×4 stud walls ensure plenty of insulation needed.

We established a relationship with Absolute Steel, a global manufacturer of steel buildings. Apart from undeniable quality and hassle-free construction, all of the components are made in the USA.

Their buildings begin with 15-gauge tubular steel construction. This not only guarantees maximum strength. However, it  also runs on a 2×3 frame, so it can be erected efficiently  on traditional 8-inch concrete stud walls, leaving room for other traditional building components to run. In our building, a 2×3 tubular steel frame is fixed to the outside of the trunk wall with concrete anchors and Z-clamps. This provides the  necessary space for the pressure treated sill plate. This forms the basis for the I joists that give structure to the multi-layer floor. What makes our High Altitude Barn Dome special? The Barndomium ‘barn’ provides a practical, resilient structure capable of withstanding the extreme elements of the Rocky Mountains. As soon as you walk in the door you immediately see the warm and cozy elements of a well appointed ‘condo’. Each project has different characteristics, but we try to create a house that incorporates elements that make the owner feel like they are  in the mountains. They include, but are not limited to:

Windows positioned to maximize mountain views.  Tongue and groove pine accent wall.Stainless steel device. Handcrafted Amish Cabinet. concrete counter. High quality laminate floor. Open kitchen, spacious room. Quaint electrical and plumbing fixtures.
